Family to Family Connection offers free services to families of
newborn babies and infants up to the age of four. Their Motto,
“Helping good people become better parents.”
Family to Family Connection Center is located at 1120 Shadow Lane
across from University Medical Center’s campus. There is no charge
for any of the services available. Sharon George, Manager of Family
to Family, says of TLC, “ It’s an organization we can always count

Southern Nevada Health District is one of the largest local public
health organizations in the United States. The health district serves
over 1.7 million residents, which is 70 percent of Nevada’s total
population. SNHD Mission is to protect and promote the health, the
environment and the well-being of Southern Nevada residents and
visitors. TLC has served SNHD since 2001 and has provided
thousands of layette packets and other essential needs. In 2002
The Health District honored TLC’s Founder, Darla Hayden, with the
prestigious Hero of the Year Award.

Child Haven is a part of the Clark County Department of Family
Services (DFS) and provides temporary care and treatment for
abused, neglected and abandoned children between 3 days to 17
years of age.
